Goals

The Kindergarten program at Holy Family Academy provides:

  • experiences to enrich all aspects of a child's life: emotional, physical, social, spiritual and cognitive
  • a variety of "hands on " experiences for our young children allowing them to develop at their own pace
  • an environment that is warm and caring, a place where children develop a positive image of themselves as a child of a loving God
  • opportunities for Parents (Families) to celebrate with and for children.

Our Day Includes

  • A daily routine that enables students to retain skills and concepts taught
  • Opportunities for children to listen, speak, draw and write in order to build a foundation for literacy readiness
  • Learning how to think logically and organize information
  • Recognition of letters, sounds, number sense, and reasoning skills
  • Singing songs that teach us about colors and seasons

Special Classes

Each week our kindergarten students attend the following classes:

  • Music
  • Physical Education
  • Art
  • Computers
