Dear Parents,
Following are some important calendar changes. Please make note of these on your HFA calendar/handbook: March 17 St. Patrick Prayer Service 1:45pm April 14 - 21 Terra Nova Testing April 23 Awards Assembly 1pm June 2 12:25 dismissal
We have used all 4 of our snow days. The last day of school remains June 18th. In the event of further closings, school will be open on May 21st.
I am asking for your co-operation in regards to the lunch program. Please make your child aware of the days they will be having school lunch and which menu items have been selected. Often students seem unaware of what they are to eat. If your child buys lunch on a day to day basis, please send the money in an envelope marked with the child's name and the lunch choice.
In the event your child has no lunch, or lunch money, a bagel and drink will be provided. A bill will be forwarded to you.
Many students are throwing away their lunch in order to buy ice cream or snack. Students will not be allowed to purchase ice cream or snack if this occurs.
I have had a number of questions regarding the script requirements on the education contract. We are asking each family to purchase at least $100.00 per week of script. Script is available for most of the local supermarkets such as A&P, Pathmark, ShopRite and Stop N Shop. Another option is to have a friend or relative buy the script. Like the Lucky Day Calendar, you do not personally have to purchase $4000 worth of script. Script offers the school a substantial profit.
The spring musical dress rehearsal will be on Thursday, May 6 at 10am. We would like to invite any grandparents or senior citizens who would like to attend. Please let me know so that we can send an invitation. The musical itself is on Friday, May 7 at 7pm.
